After working with various art forms for years, I eventually found my passion in making statues of women with a size plus. By the name Big ladies, I design powerful women’s figures that radiate self-worth and happiness. Statues of women with a voluptuous figure striking different poses. Most of them wear a bathing suit that was colourfully painted. Native influences became part of my style. All the statues have a unique name to distinguish themselves. The portraying of the women originates from aspects I meet in daily life. I find inspiration for new forms and poses in my environment. This makes every statue unique and every statue is a new challenge for me to try and find the right proportions and colours. Being creative is inspiring and relaxing for me. Every Big Lady is beautifully finished and made with love and enthusiasm.
